Instructor - Criminal Justice
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a general instructor certification. Experience teaching online, hybrid and traditional classes in criminal justice as well as field experience in criminal justice preferred.
Manicurist Instructor (part-time) - WD&CE
Applicants should possess a related degree in cosmetology/manicuring, be recognized as a licensed instructor by the North Carolina Board of Cosmetology, and show proof of the required 24 CEUs for licensed cosmetologists. Classes will be offered through SCC’s Workforce Development & Continuing Education (WD&CE) division and will be held Monday – Thursday evenings from 6:00 – 10:00 pm & several Saturdays from 8:00 am – 5:30 pm starting August 13, 2018 through December 8, 2018. The applicant should be prepared to work scheduled Saturdays and serve as substitute instructor in the case of absence of the weeknight instructor. Minimum Requirements: Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in the discipline taught or Master’s Degree with 18 graduate semester hours from a regionally accredited institution in the discipline taught. Day and evening hours required. Teaching experience in a community college or university setting and experience delivering online and/or hybrid courses preferred.

Auxiliary Services Assistant
Associate Degree in Accounting, Office Administration, Business Administration or related field preferred. Applicants must possess excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel, and be proficient with a calculator and copiers. Experience with general bookkeeping functions and working with daily receipting a plus.
General housekeeping and other related duties. HS Diploma/GED and NC Driver’s License required.
